DUSU Elections 2019: ABVP performs brilliantly, bags three seats

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) dominated the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections as it won three of the four seats, while the Congress-affiliated National Students' Union of India (NSUI) bagged post of secretary.

According to media reports, in this way, Akshit Dahiya won president seast, vice-president is Pradeep Tanwar and joint secretary is Shivangi Kharwal. Also, NSUI candidate Ashish Lamba has won the post of Secretary. NSUI's Chetna Tyagi, Ankit Bharti and Abhishek Chhaparwal were in the field on which the ABVP has won these positions. Chetna Tyagi was contesting the post of president, Ankit Bharti as vice-president and Abhishek Chhaparwal as joint secretary.
