New Delhi: The intimidating pace of coronavirus has once again increased the problem for the government in the country's capital Delhi. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said on Tuesday (August 9) that corona cases are increasing in Delhi, but there is no need to panic right now because most of the new cases are mild in nature. Kejriwal said his government was keeping a close watch on the entire situation.

CM Kejriwal told the press that corona cases are increasing rapidly. We are monitoring this and all the necessary steps will be taken, but most of the cases are mild and there is no need to panic. According to the health department data, 1,372 new cases and six deaths were reported in Delhi on August 8 and the positivity rate has increased to 17.85 per cent, the highest since January 21. On January 21, the positivity rate was 18.04 per cent.

Delhi had recorded 2,423 cases of corona on Sunday, with a positivity rate of 14.97 per cent and two deaths. At the same time, on Saturday, 2,311 cases of the corona were recorded here, including a positivity rate of 13.84 per cent and one death.
