In Delhi, miscreants shot at doctor, police trying to nab the accused

New Delhi: A 26-year-old resident doctor was shot dead by unidentified assailants outside the Rao Tularam Memorial Hospital in The Country's Capital Delhi's Zafarpur Kalan. The victim's doctor is undergoing treatment at the hospital and his condition is said to be stable now. Police have formed several teams to arrest the attackers.

A 26-year-old doctor was allegedly shot dead by unidentified men outside the RTR hospital, police said on Tuesday. The resident doctor of Dwarka hospital has been identified as Hemant and is currently undergoing treatment and his condition is now said to be out of danger. Police said that on Monday night, Dr Hemant was standing outside the hospital when unidentified assailants reached there in a car and shot him and fled the spot.

Police said locals and hospital guards tried to stop the accused, but they managed to escape from the spot. Police said suspected to be the reason for mutual enmity behind the incident, the case is being investigated from all angles to find out the exact cause of the firing.
