Delhi Daredevils unveil new jersey for upcoming IPL 11

 

IPL franchise team Delhi Daredevils have unveiled their jersey for the 11th season for the Indian Premier League, with CEO Hemant Dua sharing pictures of the new look on social media. The new jersey carries the same colors from the previous editions, with the red and blue prominent throughout the uniform.

Delhi Daredevils announced that comeback man Gautam Gambhir would be leading the side for the 11th edition that begins exactly in a month's time. Gambhir played for the Daredevils, his home franchise, for the first three seasons of the T20 tournament, before moving to the Kolkata Knight Riders from 2011 until 2017, where he won the title twice as captain.

The official jersey unveiling was done along with Gambhir's official confirmation as Delhi captain. "It is a huge honour to once again captain DD. To get this responsibility is a way for me to give back to the sport in the city," Delhi skipper Gambhir had said.
