New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has refused to stay the march organized by punjab farmers against the new agricultural law in Delhi on Wednesday, May 26. The high court said that the apex court is looking into the cases relating to farmers and the high court will not interfere in the issues related to it. A bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Jasmeet Singh said that this is not an issue that we are looking into. The bench said that we are not here to deal with the farmers' agitation, the matter is sub-judice in the Supreme Court. During the hearing on the maintenance of preparations for the possible third wave of corona infection, the bench sought a stay on the protest march to be held by farmers in Delhi on May 26. The bench then made the above remarks. According to reports, six months of farmers' agitation against three new agricultural laws passed by the Central Government on May 26 are being completed and in view of this, the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh has called upon farmers to take out a march to the capital. Referring to the case before the bench, advocate Dhananjay Grover said that on completion of 6 months on May 26, farmers will take out protest marches in the capital. He also said that a large number of farmers can participate in the crop season as it ends. The lawyer said the protest march by farmers could lead to several hurdles and the supply of oxygen would be prominent.
