AAP's charge against BJP: 'instead of finding girl police engaged in protection of BJP leaders'

New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has questioned the Delhi Police and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the murder of a 9-year-old girl in the Khichadipur area in the eastern part of the country's capital Delhi. AAP leader Atishi has alleged that even after the case was registered, the Delhi Police was busy protecting the BJP leaders instead of finding the girl.

Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Atishi further said, "The girl from the Dalit community, who has been missing from Khichadipur area for three days, has been brutally murdered today. Even after the case was registered, the Delhi Police was engaged in protecting the BJP leaders instead of searching for them. BJP MP Gautam Gambhir and state unit president Adesh Gupta came to campaign in the Kalyanpuri ward, the police was following them."

At the same time, Ajay Dutt, MLA of the Aam Aadmi Party, asked the question, that the Union Home Minister Amit Shah should answer whether the Valmiki society is not safe under the BJP rule? People of our Dalit and Valmiki society pleaded with the Delhi Police that our girl child is missing, but why did they not take any action?
