New Delhi: Two persons selling fake Remdesivir stake have been arrested in The capital Delhi. 17 injections have been recovered from the accused. Police are investigating the case. Two persons have been arrested by Delhi Police for selling Remdesivir at the rate of Rs 35,000 per vial. 17 injections have been seized from them. Further investigation is on. Earlier on Friday, Sarojini Nagar police station in the southwest district arrested two youths for black marketing Remdesivir injection. The accused have been identified as Abhishek Kumar, 27, and Pramod Kumar, 21. Police have seized 10 Remdesivir injections from them. Abhishek is a housekeeping employee at Safdarjung Hospital while Pramod Kumar works in a pharmacy company near Tis Hazari. They were selling injections of 35,000 to 50,000 rupees. Police are interrogating the duo and trying to trace the rest of their accomplices. Police have recovered 10 Remdesivir injections on the trial of the accused. A case under various sections has been registered against the duo at Sarojini Nagar police station and an inquiry has been initiated.
