Schools to remain closed till October 5 in Delhi, classes to start from September 21 in these states

New Delhi: Schools are going to be opened for students from September 21 to 12 in several regions of the country. As per the guidelines issued by the central government, students from class IX to XII can be allowed to go to school to seek guidance from their teachers in schools located outside the container zone from September 21. Students will be able to come to school to seek guidance from teachers only after taking written permission from their parents.

The schools will have to adhere to the guidelines on prevention of corona infection issued by the Ministry of Health. Several states, including the capital city of Delhi, have decided not to open schools in view of the increasing cases of corona. In this order, the Delhi government has issued an order to keep all schools closed by October 5. However, online classes will continue. The Delhi government has issued a circular on Friday in this regard.

Amidst the growing havoc of corona, the governments of up, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan have decided not to open schools while schools are opening in Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana.
