The capital city has been experiencing scorching temperatures above 45 degrees Celsius in recent days. Temperature and Humidity Details The IMD predicts that the maximum temperature today will be around 44 degrees Celsius. At 8:30 am, the humidity level was recorded at 38 percent. The minimum temperature throughout the day is expected to be around 29 degrees Celsius. Weather Forecast According to the weather report, Delhi can expect a cloudy sky by the afternoon with chances of thunderstorms, dust storms, and light rain or drizzle. These weather changes will be accompanied by gusty winds, blowing at speeds between 25 and 35 kmph. Residents of Delhi are advised to stay updated on the weather and take necessary precautions to stay safe during the expected weather changes. Over the next six days, the weather office predicts thunderstorms and dust storms in Delhi, accompanied by rain and strong winds, continuing until June 4. On Thursday, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 45 degrees Celsius, while the minimum will be around 30 degrees Celsius. Skymet Weather reported, "With easterly winds, the heat index was over 50 degrees even though the actual temperature was lower. However, with the arrival of westerly winds, humidity has decreased, reducing the heat index. This will lower the 'feels-like' temperature, bringing relief to residents."
