According to a MeT department,"The minimum temperature settled at 26.5 degrees Celsius while relative humidity was recorded at 83 % at 8.30 AM".
The day to be generally cloudy with light rains or drizzle likely to occur in some parts of the city, says weatherman forecast.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius.
