Muslim and Ambedkarite organizations threaten nationwide protests as India demands 'Prophet Mohammed Act'

Mumbai: The Deprived Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) led by Raza Academy and Tahfuz Namus-e-Risalat Board and Prakash Ambedkar in Maharashtra have tried to pressure the Maharashtra government to bring the Prophet, Muhammad Bill. So that blasphemy laws can be brought against symbols of other religions, including the Prophet Muhammad. According to media reports, the bill has been drafted. The bill is being publicized as the 'Prophet Muhammad Bill.' It can be titled 'Blasphemy of Prophet Muhammad and other religious chiefs Act, 2021' or 'Abusive Languages (Prevention) Act, 2021.'

Raza Academy, a Muslim organization that dominates Maharashtra well, has warned in a way that the Tahfuz a Namus e Resalat Bill be passed in the Assembly. Otherwise, they will protest all over the country. Maulana Moin Ashraf Qadri (Moin Mian), head of the All India Sunni Jamiatul Ulema, has said, "This is our suggestion, but the government can give whatever name the government wants to name this Bill. We demand that there should be a strict law to prevent condemnation, ridicule, and humiliation of our holy Prophet and all gods and goddesses and religious leaders. Communal battles are taking place because our present law fails to stop the miscreants.''

There is no law relating to blasphemy (Blasphemy) in India. But, there is a law in the Indian Penal Code (IPC) that deliberately provides for jail and fines for those who deliberately hurt one's religious sentiments. Under Section 295(A) of the IPC, if the accused has hurt someone's religious sentiments "deliberately and with malicious intent," he may be punishable with fines of up to 3 years in prison.
