Kolkata: Trinamool Congress (TMC) general secretary Kunal Ghosh has demanded the arrest of Suvendu Adhikari, Leader of Opposition of West Bengal. Ghosh has said that Sudipto Sen, the main accused in the Saradha scam, has claimed to have been blackmailed by the officer. Ghosh has said that Sudipto Sen, owner of Saradha chit fund, has told in his petition that BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari had blackmailed him and took money from him. We demand that the CBI immediately takes the Suvendu officer into custody. The TMC leader further said that the main conspirators of the Saradha scam are trying to evade the officials. He said that Suvendu Adhikari has joined BJP only to save himself. There is a big conspiracy behind this scam. Earlier, Ghosh had demanded the arrest of Mukul Roy, describing him as a "BJP leader" in the Saradha and Narada cases. Ghosh tweeted that, 'CBI and ED should arrest BJP leader Mukul Roy in Saradha and Narada case. I have already sent a letter to him seeking joint interrogation. He is an influential conspirator. They have used different parties just for their personal safety. Mukul Roy should not be spared.
