Delhi reports 51 new dengue patients in just one week

New Delhi: As the cases of corona infection started decreasing in the country's capital Delhi, now dengue has started wreaking havoc. In the last one week (till September 10), 51 cases of dengue have been reported in Delhi. These are the highest number of cases reported in a week this year. According to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) data, after the addition of new cases, the number of cases in Delhi this year has now reached 295.

Delhi has recorded 75 cases of dengue in September alone. However, there is still half a month left for September. So the figure may be quite high at the end of the month. However, no dengue death has been reported in the city so far. Apart from dengue, 63 cases of malaria and 14 cases of chikungunya have been reported so far this year.

Explain that there is no specific medicine or exact treatment for dengue. In this, some home remedies can prove to be very effective. In such a situation, you should drink more water. In extremely severe cases, the patient should be given electrolyte supplements. In some cases, treatment is also done through blood pressure monitoring and blood transfusion. Do not forget to take medicines like aspirin or ibuprofen on your own, be sure to consult a doctor first.
