Mumbai: Former CM Devendra Fadnavis has met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari over allegations leveled against the Home Minister in a letter to former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh. Devendra Fadnavis met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari with several BJP leaders in the morning on Wednesday and submitted a memorandum to him. After meeting the governor, Fadnavis said it is sad that CM Uddhav Thackeray is silent on the entire issue. Sharad Pawar has defended for two days, while Congress is not looking into existence. Fadnavis has once again called Mahavikas Aghadi government as Maha vasooli government. He said that the way Congress has maintained silence, it should tell how much share it has received for it. He said that we have put the whole matter before the governor. We hope that the Governor should talk on this issue and ask the Chief Minister what action he has taken on it. The BJP is an aggressor on the state's coalition government and is demanding resignation since the allegations leveled by the former Police Commissioner on Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. The former Commissioner of Police, in one of his letters to CM, had alleged that the Mumbai Police was given a target of levying Rs. 100 crores in a month on behalf of Anil Deshmukh. Param Bir Singh has been transferred from the post of Mumbai Police Commissioner and is now handling the responsibility of DG Homeguards.
