Patna: A vigilance team in Bihar on Saturday raided the premises of Sanjay Kumar Rai, executive engineer of the Kishanganj division of the rural affairs department, in connection with a disproportionate assets case. According to the news received, this raid has been done at the locations in Kishanganj and Patna. It is being said that when the team reached Kishanganj to conduct a raid, it was found that this corrupt engineer keeps bribing money with his junior engineer and cashier. Subsequently, the investigation team raided these people as well. More than Rs 3 crore in cash and jewellery have been recovered from Kishanganj. At the same time, about Rs 1 crore cash has been found in the search of executive engineer Sanjay Kumar Rai's Patna residence. The investigation team has started matching the notes.
