Dharani portal will be launched today in Telangana

Dharani portal has been set up in Telangana for all land and property related transactions. It is a one-stop portal and documentation site to make work easier. Dharani portal is scheduled to start on Thursday at 12.30 pm. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao will launch this website.

Earlier on October 25, it was to be launched on the occasion of Dasara. However, it was postponed due to delay in setting up of online network in 570 mandal revenue offices and 142 sub-registrar offices across the state following heavy rains earlier this month. Under the new system, the Tahsildars also work as joint sub-registrars for registration of agricultural assets and sub-registrars conduct non-agricultural property registrations.

Dharani Portal provides accountability and safe and hassle free citizens services for land registrations, mutations and transfers. It also aims to plug loopholes in the registration process and store land and property related information online. The website was designed to simplify registration, heritage and division of agricultural lands, ensure the entire process is completed within a few minutes and to provide the e-Pattadar Passbook to land owners immediately.
