Dhoni becomes biggest income tax payer in his hometown Jharkhand

 

Former Indian cricket team skipper the captain cool fame Mahendra Singh Dhoni has become the biggest income tax payer in Jharkhand. He is paid income tax of Rs 12.17 crore in the financial year 2017-18. As per the reports of leading daily Prabhat Khabar, the hothead cricketer has also deposited Rs 3 crore as advance tax for the financial year 2018-2019.

 However, Mahi was not the biggest taxpayer in the state in the earlier financial year. The chief income tax commissioner V Mahalingam informed that  Dhoni had paid income tax of Rs 10.93 crore in the financial year 2016-17.

On the other hand rumors are widespread on the retirement of Dhoni from One Day International format of the game after the former skipper took the ball from umpire after recently concluded series against England wherein India lost. The incident was captured in camera and extensively circulated, trigger buzzes of Dhoni calling it a day in the limited overs format.

Master blaster fame former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar had also rallied behind the most victorious skipper of Indian cricket, saying only Dhoni can make a decision on when he has to go off.

Worth mention here Dhoni recently has entered into the 10,000 ODI runs club with a batting average of over 50. He has also become the third best ever Indian to join the league after Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly.
