Now, Kantara producer Karthik Gowda has broken his silence on the reports, clearing the air once and for all. Taking to Twitter, he reshared one such report and said, “Wrong News! We will let you know when it is coming but certainly not November 4th." Recently Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the latest box office figures. Nett BOC.” Speaking about the film, Kantara, which translates to the mystical forest, tells the story of a local demigod (Bhoota) who trades forest land to the tribe’s people with a king in 1870 in exchange for happiness. Many years later, when the king’s son grows greedy and wants the land back, he dies due to the wrath of Bhoota. Set in the fictional village of Dakshina Kannada, Kantara follows a Kambala champion, played by Rishab, who comes to loggerheads with an upright Forest Range officer, Murali (Kishore).
