Did you known about the 'Waterman' of India ?

Thousands have live without love but none without water. It’s rightly said by Bejamin Franklin - ' we don't understand the worth of water until the well is dry! ‘If humans continue to waste water like this then the days for extinction of humans is very near.

Apart from these stupid people, there stands one man who know the worth of water, understands it and apply it in real life unlike others who just tell its importance through words.

Ayyappa Masaji , 59 , from tumkur combined his intelligence with the modern technology to derive ways to conserve water. He has been featured in the Limca Book of Records for a record of constructing more than 500 lakes and recharging 2000 borewells. Ayyappa has set up many artificial ponds, borewells and trenches which are recharged via the groundwater. He has researched about advanced water conservation techniques and met experts like Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev and came to a conclusion by devising his own techniques.

Despite all his efforts government has not yet appreciated his efforts or have taken interest in his techniques which can save many lives of the farmers by giving them the ray of hope on times of darkness.
