A diesel tanker has been overturned at Baramati in Maharashtra. Thousands of litres of diesel was found in the drain water when the tanker overturned. However, instead of questioning the injured, the locals quickly brought their utensils and started filling diesel. A large crowd of people gathered to carry diesel. The entire incident took place on Saturday evening. The entire case is from Gojubavi village in Baramati taluka. It is learnt that the tanker had left Baramati MIDC with diesel towards Patas Road. It was then that the tanker met with an accident at one point and fell near the drain, causing thousands of litres of diesel kept in it to fall into the drain. After which the drain overflowed. However, when the locals came to know about it, people rushed to the spot. However, people did not even question the driver and cleaner who met with the accident. On the contrary, all the people, including the woman and the child of the house, rushed to loot the diesel that had fallen from the tanker. Not only utensils, buckets, drums, but some people also tried to smuggle diesel into copper utensils. At this time, people did not even take care of the corona rules. Finally, when the police got the information, she reached the spot and removed the crowd. The tanker has been removed with the help of a crane late at night. Petrol and diesel prices are still rising in the country. However, there has been no hike in diesel and petrol prices on Saturday. Earlier on Friday, petrol rose 29 paise, to Rs 92.34 per litre and diesel rose 34 paise, to Rs 82.95 per litre in delhi market.
