GOOD news for devotees, direct train from Gwalior to Tirupati Balaji

Gwalior: There is now a piece of big and very good news for devotees going to Tirupati Balaji. In fact, soon the train from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Tirupati is going to be given a stoppage at Gwalior. This will not only enable the common man to reach Tirupati easily but also migrate to other stations falling on that route. As part of the information received, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia recently met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav over the same. In such a situation, most of the demands placed by him were immediately cleared by Railway Minister Vaishnav. Last Thursday, Jyotiraditya Scindia met Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav and discussed in detail the pending various issues related to railways in the Gwalior-Chambal region and requested a speedy solution. Meanwhile, Railway Minister Vaishnav has assured Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia that all the demands placed by him will be addressed on priority.

What was the demand?

* The proposal for the development and expansion of Gwalior railway station has been submitted by the Indian Railway Station Development Corporation on 23rd June at a cost of 250 crores, the work should be started after giving its approval. According to the news received, the Railway Minister has issued instructions to the concerned officials to invite tenders.

* Operate Vande Bharat train between Delhi and Gwalior. For this, the Railway Minister has agreed and the train will start between 2022 with other Vande Bharat trains.

* Adequate budget may be sanctioned for the Gwalior-Sheopur section which is under gauge conversion for development of Gwalior Chambal zone so that the work can be completed expeditiously. As per the information received, the Railway Minister has issued instructions to the officials to expedite the budget with an increase.

* Gwalior-Guna Maxi section with a length of 400 km, whose proposal for a survey of doubling of the track was approved in 2012-13 and the report of which has been received by Railways in 2017 and is pending for approval of doubling, may be approved. A total budget of Rs.2,822 crores is required for the said work.

* Stoppage of the said four trains at Gwalior railway station is very important, which needs to be sanctioned. Lokmanya Tilak Terminal-Haridwar Super Fast, Hazrat Nizamuddin Yeshwantpur Super Fast Express, Hazrat Nizamuddin Tirupati Express, and Hazrat Nizamuddin-Singrauli Express Superfast are already stopping over the place at Gwalior station.
