Disney India's Mumbai conference canceled due to Corona

Due to Coronavirus, the new guidelines issued by the Government of India have also affected the first press conference of Disney India in the country. This conference to be held in a five-star hotel in Mumbai here on Friday afternoon has been cancelled. In this sent invitation, it was said that Disney was about to announce a new entertainment revolution in India in this conference.

After the World Health Organization declared coronavirus infection an epidemic, the Government of India has cancelled all tourist visas. It is said that because of this, some top Disney officials got postponed to India for this conference. Disney has also made considerable efforts to strengthen its presence in the Asia Pacific region over the past few years.

Let us tell you that since the purchase of Star Network last year, Disney has been continuously making changes in the top management of this sector. All the Star Network offices, film and TV production companies already in India are now under Disney management. Uday Shankar, who was responsible for Star Network in the Asian region, has been appointed by Disney as the President of Asia, Pacific Region (APAC). This region includes 47 countries including India, China, Australia, New Zealand. On Friday, in the press conference held in Mumbai, some representatives of these areas were also involved. He was going to address this press conference related to the next revolution in the Indian entertainment world in a big hotel in Mumbai. But, according to a statement released on Friday morning, this conference has now been postponed.
