The districts that were affected by the heavy rains due to the winds are regaining. The weather was dry on Thursday in east and west Godavari districts, Visakhapatnam, Krishna and Guntur districts. However, many colonies are in the waters as the water does not go out of the lowlands. The authorities alerted the people of Lanka villages in Krishna and Guntur districts as the flood ing to the Krishna River. People in the lowland areas are being evacuated to safer places. The eighth class student of Theallur village, Cat Hemant (12), was killed in the village of Uyyandana village in Guntur district's Krosur mandal on Thursday. Tammileru is still in the West Godavari district, but the red canal is still in the middle. The flood to Tammileru has decreased due to the decline in rains in West Godavari and Khammam districts. Tammileru is flooded from Andhra Calva only. The Red Canal water reached the fields in the Tadepalligudem constituency along with Nidadavolu. The canal is flowing beyond the dangerous level of the rural zone. The Red Canal was flooded in to the Veereswara swamy area of Jangareddigudem mandal. The second warning was issued at Bhimavaram after the Yanamadur drain was overflowing. In the East Godavari district, the Eleru was slowed down by the flooding of the fields and many areas. The water level in the reservoir has decreased to 86.13 meters. Officials released 17,000 CSR water till Wednesday night and reduced it to 14,000 CSR from Thursday morning. Water flows on the highway no. 216 between Pithapuram and Gollaprolu. There are 40 colonies in the Kakinada Rural Zone. The Minister Kannababu knee deep in the FCI Colony and Janachaitanya Colony visited the victims. The government has accelerated the relief efforts for the victims. NDRF teams participated in relief efforts.
