In the show, Deepika Singh played the educated wife who was an IPS officer and Anas Rashid as her uneducated husband Sooraj. The show witnessed the record-breaking success.
As Star Plus announced the new season in which the track would now move ahead in Kerala. Also, the title has been announced of the sequel and it is 'Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji'.
