Deepika Singh, actress of the popular television show 'Diya Aur Baati' serial, revealed the secret she had hidden from her father. Deepika said she had done a bank job without informing her father. The actress opened up about the difficult times she had spent in life in an interview.
"I told my father that I was doing correspondence," actress Deepika said. She had never been informed about the banking job. "The book came home and I was in the bank. When he came to know, he was very angry and did not talk to me for a year. Because the situation at home was very bad, I wanted to be self-independent. I used to teach tuition, but it did not meet the requirements. I have been courageous. I left my college, but he was happy when I was b. in Indraprastha College. Admission to Com (Honours)."
In the interview, Deepika Singh further said, "I thought after doing b.com, Dad will insist on me getting married. I saw the same for my sisters. I wanted to break it. I took the bank exam and worked for two months. I never thought of dropping out. I also did an MBA, but she was from correspondence."
