DK Shivakumar escapes unhurt after being hit by a flying chopper

Bangalore: Emergency landing has been made for the chopper of Congress state unit chief DK Shivakumar, who is campaigning for the Karnataka assembly elections. Actually, an eagle had collided with the cockpit of his chopper, due to which the wind shield of the chopper was broken and the chopper had to make an emergency landing. 

According to media reports, the chopper of Congress state unit president DK Shivakumar has made an emergency landing at the HAL airport in Bengaluru. Actually, Shivakumar's chopper had taken off today at 12 noon and it was going towards Mulbagilu near Kolar. When the chopper was flying near Hoskote, 40 km away from HAL, an eagle collided with the cockpit of the chopper, in which the glass of the chopper was broken and it had to make an emergency landing.

Let us inform that the Congress manifesto was also released on Tuesday (May 2) for the Karnataka assembly elections. The BJP has attacked the Congress over the manifesto released in the presence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and State President DK Shivakumar. Actually, Congress has promised to ban Bajrang Dal in its manifesto, which Hinduist organizations are opposing.
