Govt's delayed action on Jallikattu led to mass agitation ; said DMK

The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) on the ongoing Jallikattu matter today said that the mass protest in the state is due to the government's delayed action.  

DMK MP TKS Elangovan as per the sources news said"It is because of the Central government's action that Jallikattu has stopped. It is for the Central government to help the people of Tamil Nadu. Whatever they have done is a delayed action which has led to a mass agitation in the state. It is for them to see it is undone" .

He also stated the protest on ban of Jallikattu will continue in the stste until any result is announced. He said "We are waiting for the result. If the result is in favour of Jallikattu, then why would we agitate?".

The Centre has passed the ordinance on Jallikattu yesterday which was sent by the Tamil Nadu Government.
