Documentary on Kashmir Valley got clean certificate

Documentary on Kashmir valley incident got U certificate for public viewing. The Delhi High Court paved the way of screening of documentary without any cut saying the film does not contain any unacceptable material and deserve issuance of U certificate.

Director-producer of documentary Pankanj Bhutaliya “Textures of Loss” has agreed to not showing objectionable. Bench of Chief Justice G Rohini and Justice Jayant Nath was concerned about insertion of disclaimer.

“It may be true that issue of violence Kashmir is a sensitive topic. However, we do not find any objectionable material in the film is question” the bench said. Also the bench of Judge instructed the censor board to issue clean certificate for public screening without any deletion of scene.

The film has made an attempt to portray the life of the people in the valley of Kashmir who were effected by long term violence, by interviewing the family members of some of victim of violence. The person who is interviewed shared his experience and the loss suffered by them on account of the conflict between the militant and security forces and police.
