Bollywood star Salman Khan has caused a social media uproar with a comment that he felt like a “raped woman” after filming intense wrestling scenes for his upcoming film Sultan. Salman, then proceeded to make sure he finished saying what he had in mind. “It feels like the most difficult. I couldn’t take steps. I couldn’t take steps.” There is no denying that the Dabangg actor made the comment – whether he should have at all, is another debate altogether, but he immediately saw the error in it and retracted it. After that a lawyer filed a petition in a Kanpur court against Bollywood actor Salman Khan for hurting the “prestige” of women through his rape remark, initiating what could bring fresh trouble for the actor. But, the star's father, Salim Khan, asked people to forgive his son for his remarks. "Undoubtedly what Salman said is wrong," Salman's father tweeted. But he added, "The intention was not wrong. Nevertheless I apologise on behalf of his family his fans & his friends." Salman's family apologized on his comment, but Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has threatened to drop 'Salman Khan' as goodwill ambassador of the Indian contingent for the Rio Olympics if an immediate public apology for his irresponsible rape comment doesn't come through. India has long been grappling with crimes against women. The 2012 fatal gang rape of a young Delhi woman sent shockwaves across the country leading to protests and debates, which were also the subject of last year's BBC documentary India's Daughter that was banned in the country. Rape, which involves brutal physical violence inflicted on a person, at times on children as young as a day old. Rape, which plagues the country so dangerously, that 92 women are raped on an average every day here. Rape, which took the life of the Delhi woman Bollywood profusely condoled. Rape, which is a crime, as opposed to an average joke. The controversies are growing just because, Salman Khan is a celebrity? If common people do comment like this than no one cares.. Whether it is common man or a celebrity, no one knows the pain of woman being raped.. This is not the stuff to talk about, atleast if a person can't understand the pain, then there is no right to make fun of things like this...
