Domestic Railway services: Coffee to cost Rs 7 and food to cost Rs 50

New Delhi: Union Minister of Railway Suresh Prabhu Prabhakar have announced the new policy of catering. As per the new policy of catering, IRTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism) will handle the food services of National Railway.

Railway Minister said that it is the responsibility of IRTC to provide nutritive food to its passengers, from cooking to serving, all the services will be supervised by the skilled hospitality staffs.

Including A1 and A categorized Food Plaza and Food Courts are also handed over to the IRTC. Along with that, Suresh showed green flag to the Antyodaya and Humsafar trains, which will be operational from now.
