Domestic violence in Yuvraj Singh's family ,Akanksha Sharma- Bigg Boss 10 contestant filed case

NEW DELHI: Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has been defamed in a domestic violence case filed by his sister-in-law and Bigg Boss 10 contestant Akanksha Sharma, alleged Yuvi and his family caused her "mental and financial torture", news agency ANI reported on Wednesday.

Gurugram Police has summoned Akanksha's husband Zoravar Singh, mother-in-law Shabnam and brother-in-law Yuvraj in the case. A notice has been sent to the Yuvraj Singh family in this concern.

Akanksha's lawyer Swati Singh Malik, set the domestic violence case to news and entertainment portal SpotboyE. Hearing by the first court, in this case, is planned for October 21, she said.

The lawyer claimed Akanksha's mother-in-law and husband had been bludgeon her to conceive, while "mental and financial torture" also imposed on Yuvraj Singh’s family and Yuvraj, she said, had been a "mute spectator" to the "distress" caused to Akanksha by his family members.

The domestic violence complaint by Akanksha has been filed in Gurugram.

Yuvraj's younger brother Zorawar had married Gurgaon girl Akanksha Sharma in 2014. During her turn on reality TV show Bigg Boss, she'd exposed that she'd walked out of the marriage after just four months, cluing at harassment by her in-laws. The alienated couple had filed for divorce in the most recent year.
