Don't hang me over my laugh, tweeted Randeep Hooda

Gurmehar Kaur, the daughter of Kargil war hero Captain Mandeep Singh with her post condemned the violence that took place in Delhi's Ramjas college.

Also, she shared a video, In a video of Kaur, she said, "Pakistan did not kill my dad, the war did", On which Sehwag tweeted, "‘I didn’t score two triple centuries, my bat did." On which Randeep posted an open letter with the title: "Don't hang me over a laugh." : "Viru cracked a joke and I admit I laughed. Damn!! He is so witty and this is one of the other million things he’s said that has made me crack up. That was it!!" He wrote "I'm being held responsible for instigating hate threats against a young girl, shockingly by the girl herself. That’s absolutely untrue. That was never our intention and our tweets is not the source of all the hate she might be receiving." 

He also condemned the violence while defending their right to express. According to him a few people including journalists are maligning their name to only further their agendas.
