Uma Bharti on farmers' protest: 'Both sides have to be free from arrogance and persistence'

Bhopal: Farmers' protest against the central government's new agricultural laws continues for the 59th day today. Meanwhile, senior BJP leader Uma Bharti has spoken on the farmers ' agitation on various borders of Delhi. In a statement, she said, "This is the opportunity for the government and the farmer leaders to solve the problems of the farmers and the two sides have to work free from arrogance and persistence. '

 

Uma Bharti also said, "After 30 years, farmers have gathered. The government also has the same opportunity. So, Modiji (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) has also had a huge opportunity and there is an opportunity before the farmers also. On this occasion, both sides (government and farmer leaders) will have to work free from arrogance and persistence." She told reporters at her residence in Bhopal. She said, "farmers' leaders should not be given politics in the farmers' agitation. '

In her further talks, Uma Bharti quoting farmers leader Mahendra Singh Tikait and Sharad Joshi's farmers agitation in Delhi 30 years ago, said, "There were no differences between the two farmer leaders but there was a conflict between their supporters on the podium. Farmers have been agitating for more than two months on various borders of Delhi demanding the repeal of three new agricultural laws brought by the central government. '
