DRS Row: No action against Kohli, Smith says ICC

The ICC decided not to take action aginst Australian skipper Steve Smith, India captain Virat Kohli, or any other player in connection with the Umpire Decision Review System or DRS incident during the Bengaluru Test.

In a statement, ICC Chief Executive David Richardson said, "No further action could be taken as no charges have been laid under its code of conduct"

The controversy came up following India's win in Bengaluru Test, when Indian captain, accused Australia taking help from their dressing room thrice before deciding on DRS reviews.

The Indian skipper informed the umpire on two occasions, before the third time when Smith looked towards the dressing room after asking non-striker Peter Handscomb when given out LBW. 

Talking about this Smith said his action in seeking an opinion from his dressing room as brain fade.

ICC took no action terming that it will help both teams to focus their energies on the third Test in Ranchi held next week.
