Dubbing artist and actor Prabeesh Chakkalakkal dies while shooting; know details!

Incidents of sudden demises of celebrities make the industry mourn a lot. Recently, Malayalam actor and dubbing artist Prabeesh Chakkalakkal fainted and died while shooting for a teleflm in Kerala’s Kochi. He was 44 years old. The star breathed his last during the shooting for the YouTube channel Cochin Collage, reports a leading daily. Co-workers allege that not a single vehicle stopped when they tried to take him to a hospital. By the time they could reach a hospital, the artist had died.

The telefilm that the team was shooting was to spread awareness about waste management in Kerala. It happened after he finished his portion of shooting and also took a group photo with his co-workers that he died on the set. He had told the film’s videographer Sujith that his tongue was going dry and he needed some water to drink, reports a leading daily. As soon as he drank the water, the star collapsed.

His friends immediately tried to get him help but they could not get a vehicle in time. Someone from the team found the keys to Prabeesh’s car from his pocket and drove him to the hospital. Prabeesh had played Mahabali in a recent Onam show for the Cochin Collage channel. He has acted in a number of telefilms and worked as a dubbing artiste in several films. He did dubbing for the villain character in Abrid Shine’s recent movie Kung Fu Master. He was an employee of JSW Cements Limited. He was also a Christian Service Society (CSS) state committee member.
