Due to heavy rain on Monday morning many trains delayed. The several trains including Tamil Nadu express, GT Express is overdue as hefty rain hit the top soil between Jajau and Bhandai railway stations.
According to the DRM office spokesperson, top soil and stone grit were washed off early today between Jajau and Bhandai stations and a number of trains had to be stopped for hours till the repair work was completed this afternoon. The whole Agra division including Mathura and Firozabad has been receiving heavy rainfall for the past 48 hours. Intermittent showers continued today. The weather office on Friday had warned of heavy rains in the region.
