The actor is all set to mark his Bollywood Debut with Sunny Deol’s film, Chup: the revenge of the artist. Dulquer and Mrunal Thakur-starrer Sita Ramam, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, reminded many viewers of Veer Zaara with its vintage feel and romance. Veer Zaara, which was released in 2004, starred Shah Rukh Khan opposite Preity Zinta. Various people started comparing with Shah Rukh Khan. Now Dulquer Salmaan's reaction came on it. The actor speaking about this comparison son said, "He is such a model for all of us to follow. How he treats people, how he talks to them, how respectful he is with women. He is very special. I have grown up watching and loving his films like 'DDLJ'. He has always been an inspiration." He further added, "So, I am sure I have had influences in maybe how I interact with people, subconsciously. But comparing him to me is like insulting him because there is only one Shah Rukh Khan." On the work front, Dulquer is currently basking in the success of his recent release Sita Raman, co-starring Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna. Upon its release, the film earned critical acclaim and performed well at the box office as well. He is currently gearing up for the release of his next, Chup: the revenge of the artist, directed by filmmaker R Balki. The film also stars Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt, and Shreya Dhanwanthary and is set to hit theatres on September 23. The film is touted as a romantic psychopath thriller.
