While opposing this ED's plea, Vadra had said that Vadra has joined the investigation whenever the summon is sent by the ED. Any questions the ED has made have been answered. Vadra's lawyer had said that not accepting the charge does not mean that the accused is committing non-cooperation.

On September 24, Vadra filed his counter affidavit on the ED's plea, opposing the ED's plea, saying that there was no possibility of tampering with the evidence. Because the ED has confiscated all the documents from them. Vadra had said that there was no evidence against him. He appeared before the ED without issuing a summon. He has no property abroad nor has he taken any bribe in any deal. The ED has made false allegations against him.
