Shiv Sena MP Bhavana Gawli and Anil Deshmukh's hideouts raided by ED

Mumbai: Shiv Sena MP Bhavana Gawli Patil's house and office were raided by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday. The raid has been carried out at 6 to 7 hideouts including the house and office of Bhavana Gawli at Yavatmal. The raid operation is still going on. At the same time, ED also raided several locations in the case of former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

Bhavana Gawli Patil is a Shiv Sena MP from Yavatmal. ED conducted the raids on a case related to a Rs 72 crore fraud. ED is said to have raided several hideouts including Bhavana Gawli's house and office in the case. Bhavana Gawli is one of the senior leaders of Shiv Sena. She has been winning the last 5 Lok Sabha elections continuously. Bhavana was first elected Lok Sabha MP in 1999. He then won elections in 2004, 2009, 2014, and 2019 as well.

Apart from Bhavana Gawli, ED action is also underway in Anil Deshmukh's case. The raids are going on at three different locations including a hideout in Mumbai. It was only on Sunday that ED summoned Minister in the Maharashtra government and Shiv Sena leaders Anil Parab and Anil Deshmukh in connection with the money laundering case. They will be questioned on Tuesday.
