Mumbai: A Mumbai court has allowed ED to interrogate sacked police officer Sachin Vaze and record a statement in a money laundering case filed against former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. It is now being said that ED officials in Taloja jail are going to record the statement of Sajin Vaze tomorrow. At the same time, they are going to solve the mystery of the alleged recovery case. Let me tell you that the NIA had arrested Sachin Vaze in connection with the discovery of an SUV full of explosives near industrialist Mukesh Ambani's residence in south Mumbai and the murder of businessman Mansukh Hiran. Sachin Vaze is currently in judicial custody and has been lodged in Taloja jail in Navi Mumbai. At the same time, let me tell you that the Enforcement Directorate has so far arrested two associates of Deshmukh (Private Secretary Sanjeev Palande and personal assistant Kundan Shinde) in connection with the money laundering case against the NCP leader. In fact, the investigating agency has claimed that in the interrogation, Sanjeev and Kundan have confessed that Vaze had collected Rs 4.70 crore from orchestra bar owners in Mumbai. The amount was handed over to Shinde in two installments. The ED had sought permission from the special NIA court to interrogate Sachin Vaze and said, "They wants to question the former Assistant Inspector of Police of crime branch sitting in front of Palande and Shinde.''
