Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa does not accept SAD's president post

There is a race between SAD (Taksali) president Ranjit Singh Brahmapura and MP Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa to become a cult leader. A meeting was held between Ministers Sewa Singh Sekhwan, Ranjit Singh Brahmapura and Dhindsa the previous day. In this meeting, Brahmapura spoke to Dhindsa about the formation of a new party and Dhindsa asked Brahmapura to dissolve the SAD.

After the meeting was over, Brahmapura demanded Dhindsa to take over as the president of SAD. After this demand, Dhindsa categorically refused to accept the post. At the same time, Brahmapura also made it clear that the question of dissolving SAD does not arise. The party has been formed after Ardas in Shri Akal Takht Sahib. There is no question of breaking it.

In his statement Brahmapura said that Dhindsa is speaking at the behest of Delhi Durbar. His friendship is with the Delhi court officials. Dhindsa is eyeing the Hindu vote bank in the upcoming assembly elections. Therefore, they object to the name Siyad (Taksali). If Dhindsa wants to remove Badal family and Congress from power in Punjab, he should work unitedly. After the differences between Dhindsa and Brahmapura, there is a possibility that the Akali Dal (Taksali) is trying to push the efforts for the Third Front in the state. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa is about to form a new party to give a new direction to the political existence of his son Parminder Singh Dhindsa.
