Patna: The Election Commission has issued guidelines for Bihar elections amid the crisis of Corona Pandemic. Under these guidelines, the Election Commission has told that nomination papers for Bihar assembly elections will be filed online. Also, to avoid corona infection during the elections, all the rules have to be followed. For the Bihar Assembly Election, the Election Commission has issued a guideline saying that this time candidates will be able to deposit security money online. This will be the first time that a candidate will deposit security money online for the election. Apart from this, a maximum of five people can go with the candidate for the door to door campaigning. The Election Commission has said that public meetings and roadshows will be allowed according to the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Election Commission has also said to take precaution during the election keeping in mind the coronavirus. The guideline states that face masks, sanitizers, thermal scanners, gloves, facial PPE kits will be used during the election process and physical distance rules will also be followed.
