Emergency landing of Cheetah helicopter on Eastern Peripheral Expressway

The Indian Air Force's helicopter suffered a technical flaw during the flight. Because of which, Chopper's emergency landing had to be done on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway near Baghpat. Cheetah helicopter was going from Hindon Air Force Station of Ghaziabad towards Chandigarh.

As soon as the information received about the emergency landing of the Cheetah helicopter, the police of Chandinagar police station along with other regional officers and a team of Dial 112 also reached the spot immediately. After some time, the second helicopter of the Air Force reached the spot with mechanics. After inspecting the damaged helicopter, the mechanic took it back to Ghaziabad Hindon Airbase. In a statement issued by the Indian Air Force, the emergency landing has been described by the Cheetah helicopter pilot as a necessary and immediate action.

According to the Air Force, the aircraft was sent to the spot immediately after receiving information about the emergency landing of the Cheetah helicopter. The Air Force has told that both the pilot and the machine is safe due to emergency landing.
