New Delhi: A SpiceJet flight from the country's capital Delhi to Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh returned to Delhi airport shortly after take-off on Saturday morning. SpiceJet's spokesperson has informed that after the take-off of the flight, when the aircraft reached a height of 5,000 feet, smoke was seen in the pilot's cabin. The aircraft was then landed back at the Delhi airport. Shiv Sena spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi attacked the DGCA after the news of the plane's emergency landing. Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi has said that DGCA cannot take action on the airline as it is the preferred airline for horse-trading. He said that salute to the crew members for saving the lives of the passengers. In a video released by ANI, it is clearly seen that the plane is full of smoke. Due to this the passengers sitting inside the aircraft are having a lot of problems with the smoke. After the emergency landing of the aircraft, the passengers have been kept at the airport for the time being. It is being told that the passengers will be flown to Jabalpur by another plane.
