Batuka sarees project provides suitable work for weavers: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy

On Sunday, Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy said the state government has provided the handloom workers with adequate work. Recently, the government has launched Batuka sarees in the state that providehuge opportunities for handloom weavers. Distributing Batukamsari to women in Chivenma district, Jagdish Reddy said that the development activities and welfare schemes in the state are the top in the state.

He said the Chief Minister's decision to distribute saris to the woman as a gift to the Batuka festival has provided employment to the weavers. In addition, the handloom sector in the state has brought fame earlier. The Chief Minister's decisions are in line with the aspirations and needs of the people in the state. He suggested that development and welfare should travel in parallel with the state. In addition to development activities, the benefit of welfare schemes has also reached the tribal villages, Dalit sands and remote Gond and Chenhu pentas in the state. He reminded that the Chief Minister of Telangana was the first in the state of Telangana in the welfare and development of the country in a short period of time. The welfare schemes of the TRS government have been the inspiration for other states that have such schemes. Rajya Sabha member Badugula Lingaya Yadav, Suryapet municipal Chairperson Permalla Annapurna and others participated.
