NEW DELHI: Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a counter affidavit in a Mumbai court against diamond businessman Mehul Choksi, who had noy paid crores of rupees to Punjab National Bank. "Ther circumstances are made to delay legal proceedings by misleading the medical cause and the court," she wrote. Choksi has claimed that his property worth Rs 6129 crore has been confiscated, which is grossly wrong as ED has seized properties worth only Rs 2100 crore during the investigation. ED has told a Mumbai court that it has also agreed to provide air ambulances to bring Choksi from Antigua to India, which will also have medical experts.
