New Delhi: Former England captain Michael Vaughan believes that in the absence of Team India captain Virat Kohli, the Australian team will easily beat India in the last three matches of the upcoming Test series. Kohli is about to become a father in January and because of this, he will not be able to play the remaining three Tests of the series after the day-night Test in Adelaide from December 17 and will return home. The BCCI has approved Kohli's paternity leave on Monday. Rohit Sharma has been included in the team in place of Kohli, but the team will be commanded by Ajinkya Rahane as he is the Vice-Captain of the team. Vaughan tweeted and said, "No @imVkohli for 3 Tests in Australia.. The right decision going to be at the birth of his first child .. but it means Australia will win the series quite easily IMO .. #JustSaying " 32-year-old Kohli will, however, play three ODIs and as many T20 matches. After the first-day night Test match in Adelaide, both the teams will play the second Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) from 26 December, the third Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SGC) from 7 January 2021 and the fourth and last Test will be played at Goba from 15 January 2021.
