England's match with Wales will be held on this day

England's football team is scheduled to play a friendly match with Wales at Wimbley Stadium on 8 October this year. According to a statement released on the FA website, England is set to return to the field for the first time in 2020 at Wimbley Stadium, where it is going to play a friendly match against Wales. The program is about to be released by the seniors of Gareth Southgate, according to which it is going to host its neighboring state on Thursday 8 October at 8 pm.

This match is to be played in an empty stadium without any spectators. According to reports, the men's team can start their campaign in the 2020-21 UEAFA Nations League. After which they will play 2 international matches in October-November. Ryan Giggs' team can start the October window, which could be their first home match in 11 months.

Between the matches, the England team will pay tribute to those veterans, who have died in the last 12 months. These include 1996 World Cup winning heroes Jack Chalton, Norman Hunter, Peter Bonetti and Martin Peters.
