English opener said Indian pacer Jasprit 'tough bowler to plan for'

New Delhi: England's opening batsman Rory Burns has said that he thinks India's pitches will be good for cricket. He also said that India's pitches would not be the same as they were in Sri Lanka on the recent tour. England recently won the 2–0 Test series in Sri Lanka.

Burns, who is not going to tour Sri Lanka, has said that playing against India on Indian soil will be very challenging, especially when the host team has won the Test series in Australia. Team India will play the first match of the four-Test series against England from 5 February. The first Test will be played in Chennai from 5-9 February. The last two Tests will be held in Ahmedabad. Burns told the media on Thursday, "I think the wickets here will be good, and as the match progresses the ball will turn more."

He further said that I have talked to many people, with whom I have experience working and they say that India has different pitches than Sri Lanka. We are preparing in this context. Mr. Burns has not played any cricket tournament since October 2020. But they say that they will also go into the series like other players.
