After ten years of service, people are convinced that after 58 years of age they will get a minimum income under the EPS every month. More recently, jobbers in seasonal companies and establishments are always in doubt about whether they will get a pension or not. Employees' Provident Fund Organization has made it clear that even if you are a seasonal worker and work only a few months in a year, you are entitled to pension after 10 years of membership. This information is being given by tweeting about monthly pension under Employees' Pension Scheme by EPFO. The EPFO has also put a picture with the tweet. This picture reads, "Yes, if you work in any of these seasonal factories and establishments for only a short period of the year then you are eligible for pension after ten years of membership." EPFO Has also mentioned some industries and sectors. These include tea, sugar, turpentine, rubber, indigo, oil milling, licensed salt, making and pressing of jute bales, rosin, crackers, ice, fruit, ice cream industry, rice milling, lentil milling, cashew industry and hosiery. The department has made it clear in another tweet that if you worked for only four months in 2016, whose contribution is deposited in EPFO, it will be considered as one year. In this way, a minimum of 10 years of membership is required to receive a pension.
